WILLIS, Texas – A young woman’s body was found in the Sam Houston National Forest Thursday afternoon.
Her body was spotted after two people driving through the forest spotted what they believed was a body and alerted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said her body was found near the 15100 block of Calvary Road around 1:50 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
Deputies said they aren’t releasing the woman’s identity until her family has been notified.
