This year has gone by so quickly. I'm pretty sure Harvey put us on fast-forward. When routines are thrown out of whack for an extended period, months and months pass but seem only like weeks. Before you know it the colder weather is here and Thanksgiving and the Holidays quickly follow. In some neighborhoods, piles of debris still sit on the curb waiting to be hauled away and it's a visual reminder that our community is far from, "back to normal."

This year, more than any in recent past, a huge number of families are struggling financially as they try to bounce back from the flood. This means it'll be a skinny Christmas or worse for many children in the Houston region. KHOU 11 continues efforts in the Holiday Toy Drive this 2017, and is looking for Secret Santas like you.
