During the annual Sales Tax Holiday on August 9-11, Texans can buy most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks tax free. Each item must be under $100 to be eligible.
And you don’t have to fight the back-to-school crowds. Online items are also tax free as long as the seller does business in Texas.
This alphabetical list includes items that do and don’t qualify for exemption from taxes on Friday through Sunday.
