BRYAN, Texas - An Aggie and World War II Veteran turned 103 years old.
W.S Edmonds graduated from Texas A&M in 1938 and enlisted in the Army shortly after. He spent his birthday with friends and family at what he calls his second home, The American Legion post 159. Edmonds was cracking jokes with fellow Veterans at his party, and even at 103 years old, he says having a sharp mind is something he cherishes.
"As long as I can get around like I do, with help, and have people come and fix for me then I will be alright, and as long as I know what's going on.
Edmonds lives by himself but his daughter and friends come to check on him daily.
