Stars, celebrities to 'Kick In For Houston' and Harvey relief

The celebrity roster, which will feature the American and global soccer community, along with stars from throughout the sports and entertainment worlds, is uniting for the first time ever to help people in the Greater Houston area affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Plenty of stars will be in Houston for this Saturday’s Kick In For Houston celebrity soccer match

The most recent additions include Astros third baseman Alex Bregman and six-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, each of whom confirmed their attendance this week.

Former Houston Dynamo star Brian Ching tells KHOU 11’s Sports Extra organizers are making sure Bregman won’t be injured participating.

The celebrity roster, which will feature the American and global soccer community, along with stars from throughout the sports and entertainment worlds, is uniting for the first time ever to help people in the Greater Houston area affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The match will be hosted by Houston Dynamo Legend and soccer analyst Stuart Holden and Dynamo Charities, the charitable arm of Holden’s hometown club. Holden will captain one of the teams in the celebrity match. All net proceeds will benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
