Roommates found shot to death inside southwest Houston home

It's unclear if there are any suspects at this time.

Houston Police and Houston Fire officials on the scene Tuesday afternoon.

HOUSTON — Police say two men were fatally shot inside a home in southwest Houston Tuesday morning.

Homicide investigators were on the scene at the home at 13300 Ridgewood Knoll Lane. Family members say the men were roommates. 

An uncle apparently went to the home to check on the men after they had not been seen since Sunday. 

When he looked through a window, he saw their bodies on the floor and called 911. 

HPD says both men have died from gunshot wounds.

Police recovered four shell casings but have not yet recovered a weapon. Nothing appears to taken from the home. 

One of the men have been identified by family members as 27-year-old Demarkris Jones. His roommate is a 25-year-old man and has not been identified yet.

It's unclear what led to the shooting and there are no suspects at this time.
