What to expect as President George H.W. Bush is laid to rest today

After this morning's funeral in Houston, President Bush will travel on a "4141" train about 70 miles to College Station.

HOUSTON - It will be an early start to a full day of remembrance for President George H.W. Bush Thursday before he is laid to rest in College Station.

Thursday started with mourners paying their respects to the President at St. Martin's Episcopal Church and will end with his interment at his presidential library in College Station.

A private funeral at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday before a motorcade takes President Bush’s casket to Spring where he is expected to arrive around 1 p.m.

President Bush will then travel on a “4141” train about 70 miles to College Station where he is expected to arrive around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

Bush will be laid to rest at his presidential library alongside his wife, former First Lady Barbara Bush, who died in April, and his daughter, Robin, who died of leukemia at the age of 3.
