No bodies found on Clear Lake Golf Course; search ends

Police began searching the golf course Wednesday based on a tip from a gang member.

HOUSTON — After searching for hours, Houston police have called off their search for bodies on the Clear Lake Golf Course.

Homicide investigators searched one area of the golf course for several hours Wednesday after they were tipped about bodies buried there.

Detectives were back out there Thursday morning but they didn't find anything so they ended the search.

According to sources, a known gang member told police about the bodies during an interrogation.

The search site was along a storm water drainage canal near the intersection of Reseda Drive and Ramada Drive.

A woman who owns the property told KHOU 11 that she's there all the time and she'll be surprised if police find anything.

KHOU 11 asked investigators if they are looking at any other possible locations where remains may be buried - but they said Thursday afternoon, at this point, they are not and they are completely finished with the search.
