SUGAR LAND, Texas – A small plane skidded off a runway at Sugar Land Airport into Oyster Creek.
It’s unclear if weather played a factor in the crash, but Doug Adolph with the City of Sugar Land said it was raining as the twin-engine plane attempted to land around 3:10 p.m.
The two people aboard weren’t injured. The plane is still partially in the creek and a boom has been placed around it in case of any fuel leak.
It’s not immediately clear where the plane was coming from.
