HUMBLE, Texas - A group of students from Humble ISD are “Standing for Houston” in a major way.
Fifth graders from Willow Creek Elementary organized a book drive to help a school that is recovering from Florence.
More than 800 books and notes of encouragement were shipped to South Carolina where people are still cleaning up after the hurricane.
The students said they were motivated to pay it forward after they received 500 cards from kids across the country after Harvey.
