SPRING, Texas Volunteers with Texas EquuSearch will resume their effort Saturday to find Ali Lowitzer, a Spring teenager who disappeared nearly two years ago.
Lowitzer was last seen getting off her school bus 30 feet from her house, near Low Ridge and Knotty Post, on April 26, 2010.
Her parents said she was supposed to head to work at the Burger Barn, less than a quarter mile away, to pick up her paycheck, but she never made it.
All communication with Lowitzer stopped around 3 p.m. that day, and she hasn t been heard from or seen since. She was just 16 when she vanished.
Texas EquuSearch said they need all available ATVs and foot-searchers for Saturday s effort.
If you would like to participate, meet at the Northwood Baptist Church, located in the 5800 block of Treaschwig Road in Spring, at 9 a.m. on February 11, 2012.
Searchers are asked to bring their own water and snacks.
