HOUSTON - Officer John Daily, who was hit and injured by an alleged drunk driver last week, is recovering from his fifth surgery.
Officials said Officer Daily has been free from infection, and everything is going as best as possible thus far in his recovery.
A blood drive Officer Daily is being held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Houston Police Officers’ Union headquarters at 1600 State Street.
