A KGW investigation revealed the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is coordinating ground searches and detectives are analyzing new computer evidence. A grand jury continues to hear evidence in Kyron’s disappearance and has met multiple times.

Kyron’s stepmother, Terri Horman, was the last known person to see him and has long been the focus of the investigation. She denies any involvement and has never been charged in the case.

An alleged 1990 murder-for-hire plot involving Terri Horman is still under investigation. Police told KGW. Horman has not been charged in that case.
