HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – One person is dead after an SUV slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler stopped at an intersection on North Sam Houston Parkway overnight.
This happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection at TC Jester in northwest Harris County.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the SUV was heading west on North Sam Houston Parkway when the vehicle slammed into the 18-wheeler. The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
It is not clear if Tuesday’s dense fog contributed to the collision.
