TEXAS CITY, Texas -- The family of a cyberbullying victim who committed suicide says the online harassment is continuing days after her death.

Fake Facebook pages laced with insults about Brandy Vela have been shared with the Texas City Police Department.

The 18-year-old’s father calls them sick and disgusting.

“I thought all this was behind us but it’s not over,” Raul Vela said.

He described one page as showing a picture of a pig with Brandy’s face on it. He said another page showed guns. His daughter fatally shot herself in her bedroom days after Thanksgiving.

“I know what she was going through now. It’s not that easy just to shut it off and let it go," he said.

Facebook removed the pages after family members complained.

In the meantime, the family continues to grieve. Brandy’s bedroom is now filled with flowers. Her father remains determined to fight the cyberbullies.

“I want justice,” Raul Vela said. “And I will for years. We’ll never, we’ll never stop.”

Police are still looking for suspects. So far, there have been no arrests.
