THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Two people were killed in a workplace shooting and a fiery car crash in The Woodlands on Friday, according to law enforcement.
The shooting happened in the 2100 block of Buckthorne Place around 4 p.m.
Police say the suspect, 63-year-old John Williams shot and killed 54-year-old Brent Brock and injured another person.
The exact circumstances that led to the shooting remain unclear but authorities said it appears to be a personal matter and the public is not in danger.
About a mile away, a car crashed and caught fire. Another person was found dead there, and a charred vehicle was captured on video from Air 11.
That deceased person's identity has not yet been released but authorities say initial reports suggest that person is Williams.
