HOUSTON — The University of Houston police chief said his department has solved all three vehicle robbery cases that happened in and around campus between Jan. 7 and 15.

Police Chief Ceasar Moore said 10 suspects have been charged, but only eight of them have been arrested so far.

Two suspects are adults and the rest are juveniles.

“I want to thank my officers who diligently worked around the clock to identify the suspects and solve these cases quickly,” Chief Moore said in a video.

The two adult suspects have been identified as Isaiah Urdy and David Augustine. Both are 18 years old.

On Jan. 7, one student reported that he was robbed while rollerblading on top of the Cullen Oaks garage. The student said three suspects approached him and demanded his car. A fight broke out, and the suspects ended up stealing the student’s car. No weapons were involved, according to Moore.

On Jan. 12, one student was robbed in parking lot 4A. The student reported he was leaning on his vehicle when he was approached by approximately five male suspects. BB guns were used in this robbery.
