HOUSTON — You spoke, we listened. Recently, our TV station upgraded the weather graphics to reflect a more contemporary look with the objective of providing better service to you. We know you don't have much time and when you do tune-in, you want the info you seek -- now. (We are the same way and share your objective!) From my experience, viewer feedback of our new look has been very positive. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line in the re-design, winds were dropped from one iteration of our new 7-day forecast look. While it may be visually appealing, there simply wasn't room to add the daily wind forecast........... For many watching us who do not spend time on the water, a wind forecast is not quite as important, but for a vast number (as we were reminded) this info is critical for your day-to-day plans. Simply put, you spoke and we immediately took action. Less than 3 days from the launch, we brought back winds on the 7-day forecast. (See below)
Thanks to your active viewership and your valued feedback, of which we are quite grateful, we've made the adjustments needed to satisfy even the most demanding water sports weekend warrior or maritime professional.
