HOUSTON – Houston police say a baby is in critical condition after getting thrown from a stroller that was hit by a car in downtown overnight.
The incident happened on Pierce at Main.
Police say a mom and dad were pushing the one year old through the intersection when a car struck the stroller.
Police say the driver was not at fault for the incident because the mom and dad entered the intersection when the car had a green light. The driver was questioned and released.
The baby was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive. No other injuries were reported.
