The overcrowded Harris County Animal Shelter needs your help.
The shelter has 150 animals it needs to move out this weekend through adoptions or fosters.
To entice adoptions—and to honor National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month—the shelter is waiving all adoption fees for select dogs.

All adoptions include a coupon for a free Papa John’s pizza and a free bag of Blue Buffalo pepperoni treats for your new pup.
Adopted animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and come with a one-year pet license. Adoptions must take place at the shelter, located at 612 Canino Road in north Houston. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Those wishing to adopt must be at least 18 years old.
