4 people sent to the hospital after crash involving Metro bus in downtown Houston

The bus driver and three passengers were taken to a local hospital. Their injuries are non-life threatening, according to officials.

HOUSTON – Four people were sent to the hospital Sunday morning after a car crashed into a Metro bus in downtown Houston.

It happened shortly after 11 a.m. near Lamar Street and Fannin Street.

According to a Metro spokesperson, the car hit the bus and caused the bus to crash into a building.

The bus driver and three passengers were taken to a local hospital. Their injuries are non-life threatening, according to officials.

At this time, there is no information on the condition of the driver of the car.
