Montgomery County opens COVID vaccine waitlist call center for those age 65 and up

Montgomery County residents who wish to register and have not already done so via the website are asked to call.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is again opening a call center on Monday morning to register its 65 and older population for the COVID-19 vaccine waitlist.

Editor's note: this story has been updated with the latest info as the county's call center opens for a second time

The call center aims to help those who do not have internet access and have been unable to get on a vaccine waitlist thus far.

New phone number to call

Note the phone number has changed from the last time the vaccine call center was open. Please let your friends and family know:

Montgomery County residents who are 65 and older who wish to get on the  vaccine waitlist and are not able to access the online registration are asked to call 936-522-4570 starting at 8 a.m. Feb. 8.

Have questions about COVID?

Montgomery County's COVID-19 Call Center is available to take questions regarding COVID-19 general questions, testing and vaccines at 936-523-3916. It is open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm.
