Woman arrested for third DWI after short chase in Spring

Deputies tried to pull her over, but the woman kept driving.

SPRING, Texas — A woman was arrested for her third DWI and for leading police on a chase in Spring Tuesday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., Susan Lozano, 55, failed to stop for deputies and led them on a short chase, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office.

Deputies initially tried to pull her over in the 3800 block of Louetta Road but she kept driving for about a mile before deputies stopped her.

Deputies conducted a sobriety test and discovered Lozano was under the influence.

She has been charged with evading arrest and driving while intoxicated. She is currently in the Harris County Jail. No bond has been set.
