HOUSTON — A man died after police say an intruder broke into his apartment and shot him while he was showering Wednesday night.
This happened just after 9 p.m. in the 10400 block of South Drive in southwest Houston.
Houston police say officers responded to reported shooting at that time and found the victim shot once. He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition but did not survive.
The victim told police someone broke into his apartment and shot him while he was showering. He crawled out into the parking lot and called for help, police said.
A description of the suspect has not been released.
