HOUSTON — A man is facing charges after he threw a Golden Retriever puppy against wall and killed it, court documents say.
On December 3, 2018, another man told deputies Alan Montelongo, 25, killed his dog.
When deputies spoke with Montelongo, he said he had gotten mad and threw it against a wall at his home.
He said he then picked it up, walked to the living room and threw it against the wall again, according to court records. He said he saw blood coming form the puppy’s mouth.
Montelongo told deputies that he was going to bury the puppy in a vacant lot across the street but changed his mind and threw it in the trash can in his house.
According to court records, he showed no remorse while talking about what happened. Montelongo was arrested and charge with animal cruelty.
