18-year-old woman shot during drive-by following argument

Police said a suspect vehicle with three males and one woman drove by the residence and opened fire on Bonner and another woman, who was not hit.

HOUSTON – An ongoing argument between a several women escalated into a drive-by shooting, leaving an 18-year-old wounded on the south side Sunday night.

This happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Clover. Police responded to a shooting call and found the victim, now been identified as Treanna Bonner, had been shot in the leg.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police said a suspect vehicle with three males and one woman drove by the residence and opened fire on Bonner and another woman, who was not hit.

The teen had been involved in an argument with several other women inside the home prior to the shooting, police said.

As one of the of the females left the residence, she was heard shouting, "shoot up the house," before the suspect vehicle drove by with three males and one female inside, police said.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver or gray Chevrolet sedan, possibly a Cruze or Cobalt.
