HOUSTON – Police are reviewing surveillance video after burglars busted open an ATM inside a Target store in northwest Houston overnight.

According to the Houston Police Department, officer responded at 3 a.m. Thursday to an alarm call at the store located off Highway 290 near Tidwell.

Store management said surveillance video showed that a small red car pulled up to the front of the store and a masked male suspect got out, police said. The suspect broke the front door and headed straight for the ATM inside.

Police said the suspect was able to pry the ATM open and was able to get cash out. It is unclear how much he made off with.

The suspect then fled the scene in the red car, police said. Investigators are waiting to review the video with store management.
