HOUSTON — The man whose body was found in Buffalo Bayou Friday has been identified.
The body of Gary Dwayne Gipson, 63, was found at Travis near Commerce in downtown Houston.
His cause of death is pending autopsy results. Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma.
Bicyclists called police after seeing the body Friday morning.
The Houston Police Department dive team retrieved the body and an autopsy was performed.
