The man ran out of the home, but Morris, fearing for his safety, didn't chase him for too long.

Neighbors say the intruder had earlier tried to get into some homes across the street. Surveillance cameras showed a man at a side door and window at another home.

Investigators later received a 911 call that a man was allegedly peeping into a home in the same area. Constables responded and made an arrest.

The indecency with a child charge was the result of an incident in June 2016. According to court documents, Jones allegedly exposed himself to two elementary-school-aged girls while they were playing a tree. He also allegedly pinched the bottoms of both girls as he was helping them out of the tree.
