HOUSTON — Three juveniles were arrested after leading police on a chase in southwest Houston overnight.

This started around 2 a.m. when an officer spotted a white van matching a description of one used in a robbery. The officer tried to pull the van over in the area of the Southwest Freeway and Hillcroft but they refused to stop.

The van led police on a 15-minute chase, police said. During the chase, one of the suspects jumped out of the car while they were passing through the city of Bellaire.

The other two suspects continued the chase, but eventually surrendered in a parking lot at S. Gessner and Belfort.

Two 17-year-olds were taken into custody.

Police said the third juvenile, who had jumped out of the vehicle, was arrested after being bitten by a K-9 unit.
