2 juveniles in custody after carjacking, chase in SE Houston

Houston police said two juveniles stole a car at gunpoint before they led police on a short chase.

HOUSTON — Two juveniles are in custody Sunday after a carjacking and chase in southeast Houston, police said.

Police said around 12:30 a.m., they received a call about a robbery in the 7200 block of Narcissus. When they arrived on scene they learned two juveniles stole a vehicle at gunpoint.

Police checked the area and spotted a vehicle that matched the description of the stolen one. They attempted to stop the car, but the suspects kept going. 

The juveniles led police on a short chase before they crashed into two cars and two trees near the 7500 block of Linden Street.

They were taken into custody without incident. 

No one was injured.
