HOUSTON – Houston Police are looking for the gunman in connection to a quadruple drive-by shooting that left one dead and three injured late Wednesday night.

According to investigators, they were called to a northeast Houston home on Saybrook Street at approximately 11:45 p.m.

One woman was killed and three men were transported to a hospital, their conditions are unknown as of late Thursday morning.

Police haven’t released a motive or suspect but several witnesses say the gunman was in a white truck or SUV.

“I feel horrible, horrible,” said neighbor Jamie Farciert, “that this would happen in my neighborhood.”

Farciert said her daughter is good friends with the female victim and was at the home shortly before the shooting.

“My daughter is nervous… she’s scared just like I am. We are just all scared.”

Friends and neighbors identified the victim as Mariah Loredo, 20. A license plate search from a car at the home confirmed the name.

“She had three little kids,” said Carmen Martinez, another neighbor.

Witnesses told KHOU 11 News that all of the victims are somewhat recent graduates of Nimitz High School and that one of the men is also the father to Loredo’s children.

Anyone with information about this deadly drive-by is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
