Facebook is upping its video calling game with a new gadget called Portal. It’s a smart, hands-free video calling device from Facebook.

Basically, it’s Facebook Messenger on a much bigger screen. In order to call someone with Portal, they must have the Messenger app installed.

What makes Portal different from other video-calling devices, the camera follows you around for a more natural experience.

Check out our video to see Portal in action! We got it on Amazon for $200. The Portal + is also available for $350.

Facebook also released a video explaining privacy with this device.

"Facebook doesn't listen to, view or keep the contents of your Portal video calls. Your Portal conversation are encrypted so the calls stay between you and the people you're calling."
