The social video for Vanish Polish looks amazing.
It shows manicures melting off fingernails with no foiling, scraping or sanding.
So, we bought a couple of bottles of Vanish Polish from the website with the same name. Each bottle is $15. It shipped from China and took 18 days to arrive.
Vanish Polish smells like paint thinner when you unscrew the bottle. Once you start using it, the smell fades away. Before testing it, we checked the company website for ingredients. The contents listed are natural resin, cellulose and deionized water.
We recruited help from a pair of Houston educators to help us test it out.

Keisha Pete is a teacher at Frank Black Middle School and Ivette Morris Colvin is a counselor at Worthing High School.
Keisha had a shellac nails and Ivette had a powder manicure.
Both women followed the directions. You simply file the top coat, apply the product and leave it for 2 minutes. When the time is up, you’re supposed to be able to wipe your fingernails clean!
