HOUSTON — Belt buckles can get pretty darn big in Texas but there’s an accessory gaining unlikely popularity: no buckle belts!
The elastic belt snaps in place through your belt loops for the days you want to untuck your top. There’s no added bulk of a buckle and it gives you one less step in the bathroom too!
We found plenty of different brands on Amazon. They come in multiple sizes and colors. We bought a brown one from a company called WERFORU and it cost us $14.
We took the belt to Maida’s Belts & Buckles on Westheimer. Owner Jason Maida was a little skeptical at first but warmed up to the idea.
“I can see how it functions perfectly on those loops right there,” said Jason Maida. “If you don’t want anything right here to make a statement, that is a great variety.”
Maida studied the design and says he plans to make one out of animal skin!
