HOUSTON - Country star, Zac Brown bought the Reserve Champion steer at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Saturday.

The singer bought the steer at the rodeo auction for $330,000. The steer was sold for the second highest price, behind Jagger Horn's Grand Champion steer that sold for $345,000.

Sixteen-year-old Stock Martin from Hereford, Texas raised the steer bought by Brown.

"It's incredible. It's so amazing. It's always great to be able to participate in this auction and it's even better when you have all of these people here bidding on your steer. You can only dream of numbers like that." said Martin.

Like Martin, Brown was also a member of Future Farmers of America.
