This Texas movie theater welcomes dogs, and the $15 ticket includes wine

According to the cinema's website, tickets are $15 and include liquor and wine.

PLANO, Texas — K9 Cinemas had its first showing in December 2018 with nearly two dozen dogs along with their human companions watching the movie Up.

It is an idea Eric Lankford created by combining two of his favorite things.

“I cannot believe the amount of people rallying around us and supporting us.”

The Plano theater is setup to allow dogs to exit quietly to an outdoor courtyard when nature calls.

The theater has just three rules for owners to follow: cleaning up after your pet, bringing valid vet papers on their first visit, and a two-dog limit per human.

According to the cinema's website, tickets are $15 and include liquor and wine. The $15 adult ticket also includes free admission for one child. Additional children's tickets are $5 each.
