Why seniors should join AARP

From health and wellness to caregiving advice, to scam alerts, AARP is a wonderful resource for seniors!

HOUSTON — It's a little red card that opens up countless benefits for seniors.  What is it? How do you get it, and what can it do for you?  AARP has all kinds of advice, including the best nutrition practices.  AARP State President Charlene Hunter and Chef Keisha Griggs with Bocage Catering & Ate Boutique Kitchen discuss how AARP can enrich the lives of seniors. 

AARP is hosting a series of cooking classes featuring Chef Keisha Griggs. The "Fit and Dine on a Dime" classes are happening on the following dates:

Tuesday, August 27, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Tuesday, September 10, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Tuesday, September 17,  from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
