TWST4Girls helps Houston youth move in the right direction

The mentorship program facilitates the development of well-rounded young women who are self-sufficient and equipped with the tools needed to excel in life.

HOUSTON — Sydney Ealy, Executive Director of TWST4Girls, stopped by Great Day Houston to discuss the mentorship program and their upcoming events. TWST4Girls provides resources, mentorship, as well as intellectual and cultural exposure to the lives of young girls in Houston. The nonprofit serves girls from underserved neighborhoods, juvenile correctional facilities, schools, and community centers. The mentorship program facilitates the development of well-rounded young women who are self-sufficient and equipped with the tools needed to excel in life. 

TWST4Girls has a few exciting events coming up:

The International Service and Learning program will give underserved Houston youth the chance to travel internationally, learn history and experience culture, it will also benefit over 200 boys, girls and educators in the West African country of Ghana who are in need of school supplies and educational tools!
