HOUSTON — Dinnertime is the one meal that can be hard to put together when you're tired, and had a long day. The temptation is to order take out or zap some frozen food.
Private chef and author Serena Wolf helps families stop that dinnertime dilemma with her new cookbook, "The Dude Diet Dinnertime". The book is filled with tasty, simple recipes made with accessible ingredients. The recipes can be easily adapted based on what you have.
"The Dude Diet" was inspired by Serena's husband, Logan, who was "nutritionally confused". He loves food, but he ate terribly with no understanding of nutrition and health. Wolf decided to revamp his favorite comfort food recipes like cheesesteaks, chicken fingers, and lasagna. She used leaner meats, more veggies, and whole grains. Logan loved everything, and "The Dude Diet" was born.
