HOUSTON — Drowning is the leading cause of non-birth defect-related death for children 1-4, and the second leading cause of death of kids of children 14 & under. The Greater Houston area has already seen numerous drownings in the first half of the year, and it's so easy to change those statistics with education and swimming lessons.
The YMCA is offering a Free Swim Safety Event on Saturday, June 8 for kids ages 3 & older.
