HOUSTON — When it comes to musical instruments, a piano is a big buy and often doesn't happen for schools and community centers. Composer, Nathan Felix, has the "key" to this problem. Nathan Felix is the founder of the 6 Pianos In Surround Sound Project. The project collects 6 pianos free off craigslist and restores them for a concert event.
The concert features new classical music by Nathan Felix, written to use all 6 pianos at once. After the concert, the pianos donated to lower income schools. Enjoy the concert this Saturday at 6:30 pm at Art Alley At Sawyer Yards. The event is free to attend, and donations go towards donating pianos & restoring them.
