HOUSTON — Several things created by NASA became part of our everyday lives. Do you know why scientists created memory foam?

According to NASA, back in 1966 they were looking for a way to alleviate the effects of G Forces during takeoff and landing for astronauts. Now, we're using that same concept to help get a better night's rest.
