Meet the man who went from 420 pounds to the cover of “Runner’s World”

From sick to fit, Josh LaJaunie gained his life back after losing 230 pounds.

HOUSTON — Josh LaJaunie used to weigh 420 pounds, but after seeing family members with chronic health conditions and feeling very tired and physically heavy himself, he knew he needed to make a change.  He started going to the gym and making simple changes in his life.  After he started running, the weight really started to fall off.  230 pounds lighter, he even made the cover of Runner’s World magazine!

Today, LaJaunie has inspired his family to lose over 1,000 pounds and has written an e-book called “Sick To Fit”.  To read more about Josh’s story, log on to SickTo.Fit.

LaJaunie is also the co-founder of WellStart Health, a 12-week intensive lifestyle program that helps set good habits for life.  The program is led by physicians, dietitians and health coaches.
