Splashway Waterpark & Campgrounds in Sheridan, TX is well on its way to becoming a world-class destination. For the 2019 summer season, Splashway is focused on improvements and expansion, with an added 25 acres to their property. They've partnered with industry leaders DTJ Design, who will bring a completely new look to this remote waterpark, as well as ProSlide, who will bring the Dueling Splash Blasters, an unrivaled slide coaster that is the first of its kind.
The Dueling Splash Blasters, created by ProSlide, will feature two slides riders will race down, constantly weaving together through water coaster hills before soaring through saucers at maximum centrifugal force. The water jet propulsion technology will give riders a smooth and thrilling ride through steep inclines before soaring downhill, all the while racing their partner to the finishing plunge. This high-thrill water coaster is the first of its kind in the world and can only be experienced first at Splashway Waterpark, Summer 2019.
Alongside this major addition, Splashway Waterpark will also be investing in a new grand entrance, new gift shop, new eateries, and a new Guest Service Lobby featuring brand new technology to expedite both ticket and season pass sales for a more efficient entry process. They have also updated a toddler attraction to include colorful new fishy friends and a new slide.
Furthermore, Splashway has added 25 acres of camping developments to their campgrounds. They'll be adding new amenities, like birthday and meeting rooms, a new restaurant called The Hideaway, additional playgrounds, expanded WiFi, and golf cart rentals. In addition, they're investing heavily in new and premiere ways to camp on site. They plan to add premium RV sites and multi-family cabins to start, and glamping tents later in the year.
Splashway Waterpark will open for the 2019 summer season on May 18th. Splashway Campground is a year-round destination, hosting a number of family-oriented events, like fall festivals, Christmas festivals, Spring Break, and more!
