HOUSTON — Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to get some relaxation into your day. One of the great spaces in Houston to get some fresh air is Evelyn's Park, nestled on five acres in Bellaire.
Patricia Ritter, park director of Evelyn's Park, talked with Deborah Duncan about the great events happening at Evelyn's Park, including the Local Music Festival.
The Local Music Festival is the biggest fundraiser for Evelyn's Park, a non-profit organization. It's a family-friendly event featuring lots of great bands of all genres: alternative, rock, blues, jazz, country, folk, etc. The event will also feature a biergarten with great drinks and food. Plus, for the football fans, the college games will be broadcast on big screen TV's.
It is a free event, but VIP tickets are available for Saturday. VIP tickets will give you access to the VIP tent where you can mix and mingle with the musical acts performing, along with food and drink tickets. To purchase a VIP ticket, click here.
