A Place For Peanut offers hope for horses and humans alike

Great Day Houston photographer Frank McBride showed us how A Place For Peanut comes to the rescue of horses in need

A Place For Peanut is a non-profit organization that rescues horses, miniature horses and donkeys from being slaughtered. The organization also brings joy to children and veterans through special programs and equine therapy.

Founder and President of A Place For Peanut, Megan Cardet, talked about the importance of saving these animals and why she started this program that gives horses a second chance.

A Place For Peanut runs solely on donations. It’s second annual gala takes place on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Kirby Ice House, which is at 3333 Eastside Street in Houston, Texas 77098.
