HOUSTON — Allison Wolfe could do pretty much anything, but cook.  During Hurricane Harvey, her husband, who did most of the cooking for the family, was working around the clock as a nurse.  Wolfe found herself at home alone with a one-year-old and newborn twins, not knowing how to make a meal for her family.  It was then that she knew she needed to learn to cook.

She then applied for “Worst Cooks in America” on Food Network and soon was recruited for the culinary boot camp.

Wolfe talked with Deborah Duncan about her experience on the show and what it was like to learn from chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence.

“Worst Cooks in America” airs Sunday nights at 8pm central on Food Network.  For more information, click here.
