Chloe Alexander

KHOU 11 Digital Executive Producer

Chloe Alexander is a Digital Content Producer for KHOU-TV, TEGNA's CBS affiliate in Houston, Texas. She joined the station in September 2016 as an Assignment Desk Editor before she transitioned to Digital in March 2018. Her job duties consist of updating and creating original content for all KHOU 11 digital, mobile and social media platforms.

Prior to TEGNA, Alexander worked for Tribune Station, CW39 in Houston, Texas as an Assignment Desk Editor. She stayed in that role for almost two years and was able to develop strong relationships with Houston’s law makers, law enforcement and the community. She became one of the most admired employees in the station due to her hard work, consistency, creativity and personality.

Alexander is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a minor in Psychology. While attending the university, she worked as a reporter, entertainment anchor and production assistant at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri. She also was a producer for Newsy. Alexander was involved in many student organizations at the university including being a board member for the Legions of Black Collegians and she was a United Ambassador. As an ambassador her job was to help incoming freshmen transition into their role as college students.

Alexander was born and raised in Houston. She lives in Missouri City, which sits on the outskirts of Houston. Alexander enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog Major. She loves working out with her trainer and watching the Food Network, although she is not the best cook. She loves to volunteer and is working to create her own non-profit geared to helping high school girls receive free dresses and a makeover for their high school prom.
