HOUSTON — Kimberly Davis joined KHOU11 as a morning anchor at KHOU in June 2021.

The Mays Landing, New Jersey native previously worked for CBS Philly as an evening reporter, and fill-in anchor. She often covered breaking news, and led national news coverage for CBS News during an hours-long police standoff where six officers were shot.

Before heading to Philadelphia, Kimberly worked as a reporter at WTVF-TV in Nashville, Tennessee. Kimberly was also a morning reporter for KTTC-TV in Rochester, Minnesota.

Kimberly graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Radio Television Film, and a minor in Education. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.

In addition to her passion for storytelling, Kimberly is a fan of the arts and loves to sing. When she’s not on-air, she's most likely on a new adventure, exploring Texas with her husband. She also loves to travel internationally, spend time with family and friends, including her pups Stanley and Daisy.

Kimberly, a two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, is thrilled to call Houston home, telling the stories that matter most to viewers.
